After gaining a B.A. Hons in History of Design, I married and had two children, who are now grown up.

 

I trained as a Secondary School Art Teacher, but I decided I wanted to concentrate on painting and so have spent the last 15 years doing just that. 

 

I have painted all over the place, and lived in a few of these places too..... in France, Wales, Lancashire, Norfolk, Derbyshire, Cornwall, Romania and New Zealand.

 

I have painted landscapes, portraits and abstracts but the thing I enjoy painting the most is Taya Bean.

 

After my first portrait of her, I decided I would concentrate on creating a book to celebrate everything that is wonderful about her.

I now live in my home town of Manchester with my husband Nigel and Taya Bean.
